We love to get away but that does not mean it is always relaxing. You do not want to come home to a brown garden! Here are some tips about watering your garden while you are on vacation, camping, or just away for a few days.
If you are gone for only a few days, self-watering methods are great! Here are a few of our favorites:
-Water globes (available at the Bozeman Kenyon Noble Garden Center): These are glass or plastic orbs that trickle water into the soil.
-Plastic bottles: Poke holes in a plastic water bottle, fill it with water, and burry it upside down by the roots of the plant.
-Mulch (available at the Bozeman Kenyon Noble Garden Center): Add mulch to the top of the soil to help retain moisture.

Here are some tips and tools if you are gone for longer trips:
-Timed sprinklers (available at Kenyon Noble): Install a timer for your sprinklers and aim them to hit your garden with a set schedule.
-Drip Irrigation (available at Kenyon Noble): Install a drip irrigation system to water your plant's roots.
-Ask a friend or neighbor!
We hope this helps with your garden so you can come home to beautiful and fruitful plants!
